Tilted Sacré-Coeur Basilica

Oktober 23rd, 2008 by Julia

Black and White photography showing a tilted view of the Sacre-Coer cathedral in Montmartre, Paris.

As my blog was included in the list of “20 Awesome Photography Blogs - Paris” (Thanks!) over at ilovephotoblogs, I’ve decided to add some more pictures of the beautiful city of Paris. I start with this tilted black and white shot of the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre. It’s a very touristy spot, but the building still makes a great subject. The white stone and shady, dark areas create a contrast that makes the pictures feel almost 3-dimensional.

About Blog.ForeignLight

In photography the picture becomes a moment which is captured and the camera becomes some kind of 'third eye'. Every picture is a part of reality. The photography becomes a language, a language beyond the word. Every photographer has its own language.

This is my one.
