Between black and white

Paris

The first time I went to Paris I was a child, and loved the vibrant and beautiful metropolis full of culture and history everywhere. At first I saw the majestic Sacre Coeur appearing at the horizon of the city on top of Montmartre. It is a wonderful place to walk around, like a small city in the big city and not being bothered by hectic of the everyday life, and also to stand above the city and have a look from above to see everything clearer and to maybe change your perspective. But also in the metropolis, not just above is, is so much to discover by just walking around and letting yourself float through the streets, the arrondissements, the daily scence of life and not being eaten up by all the tourists rushing from one attraction to another. Just finding your own way of reception of Paris, like I did in my black and white photos, without distraction.
